Beaver
Scouts was only started in the village about 15 years ago but has
proved extremely popular. It is run by Mr and Mrs Brown.
Numbers
are restricted as we ideally require more adult helpers for the
evenings.

to enrol your son or daughter. We also operate a waiting
list for those not yet 6 years old. We even have potential
recruits aged 6 months old on the list !
The
Beaver Scout motto is "Fun and Friends" They
are easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts,
Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits
and helping others.
Some
Beaver Scout Colonies also organise Sleepovers. These are often
the first time a young person spends a night away from home. They
take place in suitable buildings, often Scout centres.
