Datchet Village Market

 ABOUT DATCHET VILLAGE MARKET

The Market is an association of voluntary stallholders. It
does not seek to make a profit, but simply to provide the
facilities for Stallholders to sell their goods. We set out to
achieve a friendly, community-based atmosphere, where
friends can meet over a cup of tea or coffee, chat
to others and buy real home-made products.

 We hold Markets:

ON: the THIRD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH

AT: THE DATCHET WI HALL, THE GREEN, DATCHET
  (Behind the Post Office)

 FROM: 9.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m.

We also hold other Markets from time to time, which are
publicised by poster and in local Press.

None of our producers are commercial companies
ALL PRODUCTS ARE GENUINELY HOME-MADE BY
LOCAL PEOPLE, IN THEIR OWN HOMES, JUST LIKE
 MOTHER MADE!).

The Stallholders are the Producers and are happy to
discuss their products with you. In most cases, products
can be tailor-made to your requirements – if one
producer can’t oblige, another surely can.

PRODUCTS INCLUDE

FOODS – various cakes, pies, savouries, bread, cookies,
also preserves such as jams, marmalade, chutneys and
 pickles.

PLANTS & GARDEN PRODUCE –Plants, flowers, fruit &
 vegetables according to season.

HANDICRAFTS -Knitted and hand-made garments and
other items, pottery, greetings cards, novelties, etc.

Goods can be pre-ordered and a delivery service can
also be provided, subject to order value and customer
 location. Please ask for details.

We also support THE THAMES VALLEY HOSPICE, who
have a stall. (This is the only exception to all goods
 being made by the seller).

Come along and see for yourself. Try and buy.

If you are interested in becoming a Stallholder or would
like more information, please talk to Shirley Inwood
 (Telephone : 01753 853703).

New producers are also always welcome.

Thank you for your interest!
